Scantrol Deep Vision wins Nor-Fishing Innovation Award

The Deep Vision underwater camera system for fish measurement and sorting in the trawl has been awarded Nor-Fishing’s Innovation Award. Minister of Fisheries Per Sandberg handed over the award at the official opening at Nor-Fishing today.

Deep Vision nominated for innovation award

The Nor-Fishing Foundation has announced candidates for the innovation award to be given at the fisheries exhibition in Trondheim in August. Deep Vision is one of three nominees.

Deep Vision featured in NRK radio news program

Scantrol Deep Vision has been presented in NRK Hordaland radio morning news. The company was featured as one of the entrepreneurs on the west coast of Norway that received financial support from Innovation Norway last year, for the development of its underwater fish monitoring system.

Annual Report 2015

In this fifth CRISP year the process of developing new knowledge, new fishing gears and instruments for the fishing fleet as important tools for making the trawl and purse seine fisheries more sustainable has continued. These achievements have only been possible because of extensive cooperation between the centre’s industry partners and research institutes.
